I view patients in the context of their daily lives and how their illness affects them and their quality of life. I enjoy teaching patients how to reduce risk factors that promote illness and how to modify or change lifestyles in order to prevent illness. My goal is to partner with patients in reaching their health care goals that will allow them to enjoy their daily lives with a sense of well-being. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running, knitting, gardening and working on home improvement projects.
