My Areas of Practice
I really enjoy helping patients to become motivated to stay active and exercise, evaluating them for any biomechanical faults which may have caused the problem and providing them tips on how to reduce stress and strain.  A thorough evaluation to determine a specific exercise program and specific tips to reduce stress and strain during daily or leisure activities is key for eliminating the problem and preventing it from returning in as few sessions as possible.  I love to continue to learn and have completed the most continuing education in the topics listed below.
    Walking/Running Assessment
    Movement Dysfunction and Biomechanical Assessment
    Athletic Injuries
    Balance and Falls Prevention/Vestibular
Chronic/Acute Spine (Neck and Lower Back) -Core Strengthening
Fitness Testing and Exercise Prescription for the Older Adult
Outpatient Orthopedics and Post Surgical Rehab (ankle, knee, hip, back, neck, and shoulder regions)

Personal

I was an athlete throughout college and continue to exercise regularly at the local gym.  I really enjoy getting patients motivated to exercise, evaluating them for any biomechanical faults and providing them tips on how to reduce stress and strain. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, watching sporting events, volunteering and attending continuing education courses or conferences.
