My Areas of Practice
I have been providing patient care with Park Nicollet Rehabilitation Services since 1999. I initially worked out of the Hopkins location until 2009 when I transferred to the St. Louis Park location. I have specialized in vestibular diagnosis and rehabilitation and have lectured and taught in this area, but my current focus is largely dedicated to non-pharmacologic care of headache and related chronic pain referrals including chronic neck, spine, jaw and facial pain, and fibromyalgia conditions. I have completed professional certification in mind-body medicine through The Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington D.C., which is my passion in healthcare and use this individually with clients, as well as through leading mind-body skills groups with colleague Molly Lahn. I enjoy helping clients understand the biology and science of the interactions of mind and body as it relates to pain, illness and healing. I also incorporate cranial-spinal osteopathy, Postural Restoration Institute retraining, the Unlearn Your Pain model, yoga and biofeedback with the overall goal of making self-care central to the restoration of wellness.
