My professional practice interests include orthopedics including spine, aquatic therapy, sports medicine, and vestibular rehab. I have recently completed my Therapeutic Pain Specialist Certification, allowing me to offer an empathetic and evidence based approach to patients with chronic pain. I also have a developing interest in treating according to PRI (Postural Restoration Institute) philosophy and am certified in FMS (Functional Movement Screen). Movement is key!
I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, acute care, acute neuro rehab, and home health care. These experiences have helped me to develop a well rounded perspective in developing individual treatment plans for patients. As a mom of four active children, I also understand the challenges of incorporating exercises and self care into a busy lifestyle. I thoroughly enjoy partnering with patients to help them achieve maximum independence following an injury.
