My Areas of Practice
As a certified genetic counselor at the Park Nicollet Perinatal Clinic, I feel privileged to work with women/couples who are starting or expanding their family. I do my best to personalize my care so that I can provide accurate, up to date information to help those naviagting the world of prenatal screening and testing. I enjoy meeting with patients during, or prior to, pregnancy who are concerned about potential family history risk factors, abnormal maternal screening or prenatal testing results, prior pregnancy/child concerns, couples with unexplained recurrent miscarriage and other indications. I can provide a thorough discussion of genetic risk assessment, education, evaluation and/or testing options if warranted. Connecting individuals in need of support resources and advocacy is a major component to the genetic counseling process.
