Personal

I grew up in Iowa and moved to Cincinnati, OH to initially work as a chemical engineer before going to medical school.  I stayed in Cincinnati for medical school and residency.  My husband and I moved to Minneapolis where I have been a primary care physician for many years before specializing in helping patients to lose weight in a way that promotes health and wellness with lasting lifestyle change.  In my time away from work I enjoy biking, walking and just about any outdoor activity especially going to concerts by the lake.  We have one son and enjoy traveling with our family as well.
