My Areas of Practice
I have been practicing as a physical therapist since 1983. I earned my doctorate in physical therpy in 2010. I have hundreds of hours of continued education classes over the years, with a special interest in orthopedic and manual therapy. Some of the techniques I have studied include spinal manipulation, spinal and joint mobilization, (including Greenman, Mulligan, Maitland, and Paris, among others), muscle energy techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), evaluation and treatment of temporal mandibular dysfunction (TMD). I am also certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, and use dry needling on a variety of painful conditions and trigger points. I enjoy working with patient's with a wide variety of conditions but specifically enjoy working with patients who have orthopedic conditions, and post surgical rehab patients.
