My first priority as a physician is my relationship with my patients. I believe every woman deserves a physician who truly cares about her health and safety. I enjoy caring for women of all ages; from young teenagers who are often nervous about their first gynecologic exam, to pregnant women of all ages, to women with bleeding and birth control concerns, to peri-menopausal and menopausal women dealing with the symptoms those changes can bring.

I am committed to advancing options for women’s care by moving forward with minimally-invasive surgery techniques that allow women to have shorter, less painful recovery periods and small incisions after common gynecologic surgeries. I believe in moving shorter, simpler procedures (such as no-incision permanent birth control and endometrial ablations to treat heavy periods) to the office setting where women are more comfortable and can be cared for by nursing staff they already know.  Even major surgical procedures can often be done in a minimally-invasive way that allows patients to have shorter hospital stays and faster recoveries.

One of the most important parts of my practice is providing compassionate, well-rounded care to women and families who are afffected by infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy loss and lethal fetal anomalies.

In my spare time, I enjoy raising my 4-legged boys: twin Puggle dogs, Quincy and Marlow, spending time Up North at our family home, and spending time with my husband, Clint.  In 2015, we are excited to grow our family even more as we welcome our first son!
