Personal

I grew up in Minneapolis and recently moved back to the Twin Cities from a busy practice in Salt Lake City, Utah. I truly love women's health and enjoy being a part of my patients' lives from adolescence through menopause. I am excited to be working for Park Nicollet in Burnsville and look forward to developing relationships within this new community.

I have special interests in minimally-invasive surgery, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, infertility and obstetrical care (including high-risk conditions). I enjoy caring for women of all backgrounds, and culturally-sensitive care is extremely important to me. My career has involved studying in Zimbabwe as a college student and living and studying in Thailand as a Henry Luce Fellow and medical student. My husband shares this interest, and works closely with immigrant and minority communities as a junior high and high school ESL and Language Arts teacher.

Our family includes my husband and our three young boys. We are an active group and enjoy camping, running, soccer, football and cross-country skiing. My favorite weekends include my childrens' sports events, long runs with our golden doodle and spending time with our extended family.
