As a Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner, my speciality involves diagnosing and treating conditions that affect a person's brain and spinal cord. It also involves assisting in surgery. The most important and rewarding part of my practice is listening and working together with paitents and their families in order to determine how I can best assist them to improve their health and quality of life. I have been caring for paitients for over 20 years in the hospital setting as a nurse and practitioner. When I am not working, I love reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with my family and friends.
