Research & Publications

I have authored or co-authored approximately 50 publications in the field of cardiovascular physiology, electrocardiography, and heart disease in pregnancy. I have been principle investigator or co-investigator on several American Heart Association and NIH grants in the field of  coronary physiology, and have served on American Heart Association regional research peer review committees. I have previously served as the Director of the University of Minnesota Cardiovascular Fellowship program, and retain a deep commitment to medical education, continuing to devote some time to teaching at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Personal

At home I am nourished by my family relationships and also hobbies such as running, cross country skiing, gardening, camping and reading. Although I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I think maybe my "real home" is the woods of northern Minnesota.
