My Areas of Practice

I assist the general surgeons in the operating room with numerous surgical procedures. During the week, I am also in the General Surgery offices holding an anorectal clinic. This is certainly a focused area within general and colorectal surgery but I pride myself in making my patients feel comfortable to discuss an often difficult subject matter. In addition, I provide a medical management approach along with clinic procedures for anorectal issues.

Personal

I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I moved to the Twin Cities as a young adult where my husband and I raised our two children. I completed my schooling and Physician Assistant Master Degree after my children graduated from high school. I have been practicing as a certified physician assistant since 2007. I am thoroughly enjoying this career as I meet and make a difference in so many peoples' lives.

My husband and I enjoy spending time with our two grown children, their spouses and two beautiful grand-daughters. We also have two cats and a dog that keep our lives busy. We like to travel and play golf together.
