Eyesight is a precious gift, but the ability to see is often taken for granted. As an ophthalmologist trained in managing cataracts and glaucoma, my desire is to help patients continue seeing well and maintain a high quality of life. Studying under mentors at world-renowned medical institutions has provided me with both the knowledge and skill to use the most sophisticated, leading-edge surgical procedures to handle complex, difficult cataract and glaucoma cases. I adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards. The patient's well-being is my only interest. I aspire to achieve the best possible outcomes by providing the care most appropriate for each patient. I use state-of-the-art medical procedures, such as small incision; no-stitch, no-patch cataract surgery with topical anesthesia; glaucoma surgery with antiscarring medications and glaucoma shunt procedures. I am married with three children. I enjoy time with my family, traveling, golfing, reading and listening to classical music. Family and work are balanced with serving as a Deacon in the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church.
