I have worked with pregnant women and their families on both coasts, but am happy to be back in my hometown of Minneapolis. I have had the privilege of working with women of many different backgrounds. My goal is to make health care an empowering and kind experience. I see my role as supporting women and their families through pregnancy, birth and the transition to parenthood.

The experience of having midwifery care for my pregnancies and the births of my two children was wonderful. I hope to provide that same positive experience to all the women I serve. Each woman is unique and her voice deserves to be heard. I strive to listen carefully and provide the best possible care.  I have been with Park Nicollet since 2000 and enjoy working with the women within the CenteringPregnancy groups.

I enjoy traveling internationally and met my husband in college in Cuernavaca, Mexico.  My family and I have traveled to Japan, Mexico and Ecuador.  I enjoy reading fiction, doing yoga, participating in short-distance triathlons and spending time with my family, which includes our Chihuahua named Hazel.
