My Areas of Practice

I enjoy the interactions with patients which occur on a daily basis and believe listening and information sharing are by far the most important part of my job.  I am a strong advocate for the implementation of research and evidence into physical therapist practice.  With this in mind my practice revolves around combining the best available evidence with patient expectations/preferences and my clinical experience to offer the best possible outcome.  Often, this includes strength and mobility exercises, hands-on/manual therapy interventions and education with the goal of decreasing pain and restoring function.

Personal

I was born and raised in the Northern suburbs of Chicago and moved to the Western suburbs of Minneapolis after completing my physical therapy training in Milwaukee.   Outside of work I enjoy construction/remodeling work on my home as well as reading about the progress of technology.  I am married with two teenage daughters and as a family we enjoy camping with our vintage pop-up, biking and other outdoor activities.
