Personal

I have a special interest and training in cardiovascular imaging including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT angiography. These 2 newest techniques allow meticulous definition of cardiac morphology and structure, specifically in challenging clinical cases.

As a clinical cardiologist, I see patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions. Although incredible progress in cardiovascular medications, procedure and surgeries made the treatment of cardiac conditions very rewarding, from a therapeutic point of view, early lifestyle and preventive interventions are among the most effective means of managing the burden of cardiovascular disease.

I strongly believe in a need for detailed patient education in order for the patients to make the right decision about available choices of treatment. Many cardiac interventions are surrounded by a cloud of non-scientific beliefs which need to be discussed with the patients. I enjoy helping my patients to understand the value of complex medical interventions. I strongly believe that close cooperation between the patient and physician assures the best possible quality of care.
