My Areas of Practice

I have a passion for working with patients of all ages and abilities suffering from musculoskeletal injuries.  My treatment focus is based on an evidence based model with emphasis on manual physical therapy and exercise.   The training and education I have received has prepared me to offer a high level of skilled care with a compassionate approach.  I have extensive training in manual therapy as a Fellow in the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapists.  I am a board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy demonstrating not only my commitment to orthopedic physical therapy but also to a higher level of care.  Currently, I serve as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota Program in Physical Therapy both as a guest lecturer and classroom assistant in addition to volunteering at the U of MN Phillips Neighborhood Free Clinic as a preceptor to physical therapy students.

I am passionate about physical therapy and helping patients with musculoskeletal injuries recover as quickly as possible. The foundation of my practice is an evidence-based model of medicine, incorporating the most current and best research to get my patients back to their daily lives.  My treatment approach combines both manual physical therapy and exercise for the best possible outcome.   No matter who the patient or what the injury, the goal of reducing pain and improving function is the same.
