I enjoy working with pediatric clients of all ages and helping them to learn skills in order to be as independent as possible within their daily activities. I find my career to be extremely rewarding as I am able to work closely with families and help children build fine motor skills, emotion regulation, sensory processing abilities, and teach self cares. My special interests including working with individuals with Down syndrome, and have attended the National Down Syndrome Congress Annual Convention where I was able to participate in various workshops to supplement intervention methods for individuals with Down syndrome including: Fantastic Feeders: Successful Feeding Skills in Children with DS, Memory: Activities & Classroom Support to Enhance Learning, and Issues & Concerns During Puberty.
