Personal

As a young woman, I was profoundly affected by the progressive deterioration of my dad from a malignant brain tumor. This personal experience motivated me to enter the field of medicine and gave me purpose and passion in the management of my patients and their families affected by neurologic disease.

Outside of work, I can be found running around the regions beautiful lakes, creeks and rivers. I also enjoy cross-country skiing, taking advantage of the local farmers markets, and spending time with my dog, Pisco.
