My Areas of Practice
As a family medicine physician, I am passionate about caring for all patients - regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, or race.  I believe that great medical care is the result of the relationship between a patient and their physician and I like to think of myself as a trusted advisor for your health - someone who will take the time to find out what your healthcare goals are before making a plan with you to meet those goals.  In addition, I love teaching and try to teach my patients as much as I can about their bodies in health and illness so that they can be a knowledgeable voice in their own health care in addition to teaching residents and medical students.

Personal

I am originally from the East Coast - born in New York but spent most of my time growing up in Braintree, Massachusetts.  I've had lots of different jobs in my lifetime - paper routes, construction, retail, medical device servicing, synthetic organic chemistry, bacterial genomics, prostate cancer research, teaching, and this is definitely the most enjoyable job I've had yet!  In my too little free time, I enjoy dabbling in too many hobbies, such as juggling, playing the piano and harp, geocaching and spending time as much time with my wife and sons as I can.
