Personal

I enjoy the complexity and pace of pulmonary and critical care medicine. In this world of ever increasing technological advancements, I try to keep a humanistic approach to patient care. I am particularly interested in atypical infections of the lung and lung cancer. My time at home is spent with my family, working in my garden, playing piano and jogging.  I have volunteered for 3-4 weeks a year for many years in a rural hospital in Thailand.  My work overseas has made me a better doctor and demonstrated that good health care can be delivered to people in need.
