Dr. Ott was born and raised in Edina, Minnesota. She and her husband moved back to the area in 2004 with their 3 children and are happy to have settled back around their families. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society Member. Dr. Ott completed her residency with the University of Minnesota Department of Ob/Gyn and Women’s Health. “I truly enjoy the ‘art’ of medicine.” Women’s health has always been an interest to Dr. Ott and has had a true relevance in her own life. “I respect and truly like my partners.” Dr. Ott feels Park Nicollet at Bloomington has an outstanding group of physicians. The Ob/Gyn group is large enough to create a large wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise encompassing a wide range of Obstetrical and Gynecological issues. Dr. Ott practices General Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Preventative Care. “If there is a medical issue at hand and it is not within my scope of practice, I will refer to one of my local colleagues.” Dr. Ott finds the practice of Ob/Gyn intellectually stimulating and she enjoys the challenge to keep up with new information and treatments.  “When a patient entrusts their healthcare to me, I take that job very seriously. When I seek healthcare, I expect my provider to be highly knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced but I also want that degree of compassion and bedside manner that can be hard to find. My goal is to practice this kind of patient care.” Dr. Ott delivers the kind of healthcare that she would expect for her and her family.
