My Areas of Practice

As an Advanced Practice Nurse I work in collaboration with a team of professionals to meet the needs of patients facing serious illness.  This area of practice puts the needs of the patient and their families at the center of care with meticulous attention to all aspects of an individual's life (mind-body-spirit).   Palliative Care requires a commitment as well as an ability to work together as a Team to help patients and families meet their unique goals of care. I find working closely not only with patients and their families as well as with other health care providers an extremely rewarding part of my role within the Palliative Care Team.

Personal

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends especially when it involves good conversation and food.

I get a lot of enjoyment being out in nature for walks, jogging and cross country skiing in the winter
