I enjoy treating all types of problems in the head and neck for both children and adults. I have extensive surgical experience in treating facial trauma, head and neck cancers, ear disease and sinus disease. I particularly enjoy working with patients who have voice problems. I work closely with our voice therapists to evaluate and treat performers and professional voice users, providing them with a thorough and timely evaluation using the most up-to-date technology available.  Outside of my practice at Park Nicollet, I have maintained a position at Hennepin County Medical Center teaching Otolaryngology residents and medical students weekly.  I have had ongoing involvement in our national academy through committee participation and have served on our state academy board for several years, including serving as President of that organization.  I have travelled to South America, the Dominican Repubic, Haiti, and Ethiopia participating in surgical missions for the past several years.  My current mission focus is in Ethiopia, working with physicians from across the U.S. to train Otolaryngology residents there.
