Cari has a strong passion and interest in pregnancy, labor and birth, and working with women. “Being a Midwife brings me joy every day. It is an honor to work with women during such an important time in their lives.” Even as an experienced midwife, Cari is still amazed by the miracle of birth and appreciates the life-changing event for families of bringing a new life into the world. She has completed research on bed rest, pregnancy discomforts, breastfeeding, twins, and preterm labor. “I especially love teaching women how to care for their body and baby during pregnancy.” When not at Park Nicollet, Cari enjoys running, yoga, swimming, biking, hiking, camping, reading, spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, movies, and live music. She lives in Minneapolis with her huband.
