My Areas of Practice

After 29 years of a general OBGYN practice at Park Nicollet and Methodist Hospital, I will be changing the focus of my clinical practice in October 2014. I will primarily work at the Methodist Hospital Family Birth Center on call.  My office presence will be limited both in time as well as access for only  long established patient relationships for routine gynecologic care. I am thankful for the support of my colleagues and the OBGYN Department for their support to allow this transition at this point in my career.

I grew up in Lutsen, Minnesota, along the North Shore of Lake Superior, an amazing place to call home. In addition to clinical medicine, I have been privileged to hold leadership roles in both the American Congress of OBGYN at all levels and at Park Nicollet, as Chair of the Clinical Board of Governors from 2006-2011. My goal while in any leadership role is to use my clinical experience with direct patient care to improve the systems upon which we all rely to provide quality, evidence based medical care. My husband is an orthopedic surgeon and my son is a commercial pilot in Alaska. When not at Park Nicollet, I enjoy travel, flying our Malibu Mirage, skiing, camping, fishing, hiking, and all activities outdoors.
