It is my honor to be serving as a Marriage & Family Therapist at Melrose Center. Over the past several years I have developed a great passion for journeying alongside families as they navigate the complex and complicated terrain of helping a loved one with an Eating Disorder. My practice is centered on assisting individuals & families to explore the emotional, mental, physical, & spiritual areas of treatment & recovery. I use an integrative therapeutic approach utilizing Family Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused, & strengths-based techniques.
I believe that the family is the most important tool we have in fighting Eating Disorders. I approach each session with this in mind. Families and supportive loved ones are THE greatest asset in combating this battle.
My special interests include adolescents, families, young adults, & athletes. I have a passion for focusing on self-worth & identity in the context of treatment as well.
