My Areas of Practice
I especially enjoy working with older adults and being able to provide them with appropriate amplification, mainly through the use of hearing aids. Being able to hear as well as possible is a quality of life issue for those with hearing loss, regardless of age. As a licensed audiologist working through the Park Nicollet Hearing Center,I am able to offer a wide range of hearing aid makes, models, styles, technologies, and prices.
I also have a strong interest in working with people who have tinnitus, which is the term for ringing in the ears or other head noise. I am certified to offer Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and the Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment program, two very successful programs for people suffering from severe tinnitus.

After growing up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and living in several different areas of the country, I have enjoyed living in Minnesota since 1969. The mother of two adult sons and grandmother of two grandchildren, I like to travel as much as I can but especially to San Diego to spend time with my family there. I love herb and flower gardening, writing, photography, bread baking and cooking with herbs, and as a cat lover making catnip cat toys. I am on the board at Lyndale United Church of Christ and am politically active working for peace, social justice, and environmental issues.
