Personal

I was born and raised in Bemidji, MN, home of the famous Paul and Babe!  Shortly after graduating high school, I moved out to New York City to attend a performing arts school where I primarily focused on singing, acting, and dancing.  While there, I worked for an infant and toddler music program where we sang, taught, and pretty much played with kids all day long!  After a couple of years, I made the decision to move back to Minnesota and enrolled in the LPN program (Licenced Practical Nurse) at Northwest Technical College.  Once I started my nursing classes, I realized how much I enjoyed learning about medicine and decided to continue on for my RN license (Registered Nurse).

I have been living in the Twin Cities for the past 3 years, but still find myself making the trip up Bemidji frequently to visit my parents, sisters, nieces, and nephew.  I got married in September of 2013, so most of my time for the past year had been focused on planning, organizing, and making a million decisions!  Now that the stress is over, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing crafts and projects around the house, and trying to keep in touch with my musical background.
