My Areas of Practice

I have been at Park Nicollet for over 15 years.  I enjoy providing excellent, patient-centered, evidence based care to adults across the age span and from diverse backgrounds.  When you come in for your physical, we will talk about ways to help you be in your best possible health.  I enjoy supporting individuals needing help with both new and ongoing health care concerns like diabetes and high blood pressure.  Many women of all ages see me for their unique health care needs.

I work with a wonderful team of clinicians, nurses, pharmacists, health counselors and staff at the Minneapolis clinic all available as resources for you, if needed. The clinic is in south Minneapolis near Uptown and downtown and is easily accessible by bus, bike and by foot.  We have a large (free) parking lot right across the street from the clinic. I also have Saturday hours.

I am a care provider for the Minnesota Department of Health's Sage program providing free breast and cervical cancer screening for un/underinsured women ages 40 and over.  I serve as co-medical director for Wayside House, a treatment program for women struggling to overcome substance abuse.  I am a member of the Executive Medical Council and currently serve as the clinical practice director at the Minneapolis clinic.

Personal

I grew up outside of Erie, Pennsylvania, moved to Toledo, Ohio and have lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota for over twenty four years.  I am married and have an adult daughter. When not at Park Nicollet,  I enjoy making and eating fabulous desserts, book club, singing alto in my church choir and spending time with my family.  I try to stay active with classical ballet, gardening, walking and sailing.
