Personal

As a pediatric endocrinologist, I enjoy caring for children and adolescents with diabetes and other endocrine conditions affecting growth, puberty, thyroid, and adrenal function.  I have a special interest in improving patient experiences during the transition from pediatric to adult care.  In practice, I'm striving to listen well, build trust, and become a dependable guide.

I grew up in Ohio, and have also lived in North Carolina, Indiana, and Illinois, prior to moving to Minneapolis in 2013.  I am thrilled to be joining a community that values year-round physical activity and balanced lifestyles.  My wife is also a physician and we have two young children.  When not engaged with medicine, I enjoy being with family, keeping up with technology and computers, and pursuing good music by digging for vinyl records.
