Employee involvement

Park Nicollet provides every employee and volunteer — from clinicians to administrators to support staff — information and resources to help do their jobs efficiently and effectively.

Through the following tools, Park Nicollet strives to communicate the organization’s vision and strategies in ways employees can apply to their own work:

  • Intranet, Facets
  • biweekly group e-mail, GEMS (Group E-Mail Summary)
  • weekly print newsletter, "In Brief"
  • monthly print publication, "Insights Express"
  • annual “Pursuing Park Nicollet’s Vision” materials
  • communication group meetings for managers
  • biannual learning days for managers
  • and more

Park Nicollet staff can be involved in other ways, too, including the following.

Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) is a group of Park Nicollet employees who meet monthly to organize employee volunteer opportunities. Employees willing to donate their time and talents can volunteer or serve as a representative.

Employee Activity Committee (EAC) is a group of employees who meet to plan social activities for employees, volunteers and their families. Employees willing to donate their time and talent are welcome.
