Equal employment opportunity
Commitment to equal opportunity employment
Park Nicollet Health Services provides equal opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment.
What this means to you
We will not discriminate against or harass any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status or status with regard to public assistance.
We will take affirmative action to make sure all employment practices are free of discrimination. Such employment practices include – but are not limited to – hiring; promotion; demotion; transfer; recruitment, including recruitment advertising; selection; layoff; disciplinary action; termination; rates of pay or other forms of compensation and training selection.
We will commit the necessary time and resources – both financial and human – to achieve the goals of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
We fully support incorporating nondiscrimination and affirmative action rules and regulations into contracts.
Managers, supervisors, subcontractors
In addition, Park Nicollet also expects managers and supervisors to support the achievement of these affirmative action objectives. Any Park Nicollet employee, or subcontractor to this employer, who does not comply with equal employment opportunity policies and procedures as noted above will be subject to disciplinary action.
Any subcontractor not complying with all applicable equal employment opportunity and affirmative action laws, directives and regulations of the federal, state and local governing bodies or their agencies, specifically Minnesota Statutes 2004, Chapter 363, will be subject to appropriate legal sanctions.
Accountability
Park Nicollet’s vice president of human resources manages the equal employment opportunity program. This includes monitoring all equal employment opportunity activities and reporting the effectiveness of our affirmative action program, as required by federal, state and local agencies. Park Nicollet’s chief executive officer receives and reviews reports on the program’s progress.
Employees or applicants for employment who believe they have been discriminated against can contact: Vice President of Human Resources, Park Nicollet Health Services, 3800 Park Nicollet Blvd., St. Louis Park, MN 55416.
