Residency program for new, registered-nurse graduates
All new registered nurses (RN) are required to start in this program. This outstanding program provides eight weeks of education and clinical orientation designed for new RNs. Park Nicollet provides a supportive environment for new graduates to make effective role transitions from student to practicing RN. The program is offered four times a year.
Program requirements

Must be a recent graduate seeking his or her first position as an RN

Nurse intern program
Park Nicollet Health Services offers student nurses direct patient care experience in a hospital that is nationally recognized for training excellence. The paid internship provides an opportunity for senior student nurses ready to integrate nursing theory to enhance their decision-making skills. To qualify for this program, you must be a student in good standing, enrolled in your senior year of a nursing program and have completed your first “medical-surgical” clinical.
