A1C test

A1C is a key indicator that shows how your diabetes treatment plan is working. Without it, it is hard to know if treatment is on track.

An A1C test measures your average blood glucose level over six weeks to 10 weeks. Your test results are processed and shared with you during your visit, so immediate changes can be made, if necessary.

It is very important for people with diabetes to have an A1C test every three to four months. To schedule an appointment for the diabetes assessment service, call International Diabetes Center at 952-993-3393 or toll-free at 888-825-6315.
