Treatment algorithms for glycemic control, hypertension and dyslipidemia in type 2 diabetes

International Diabetes Center at Park Nicollet has created three treatment algorithms to assist health professionals treating type 2 diabetes and related conditions. The algorithms, based on clinical research and expert opinion, diagram treatment options, timelines and recommended steps. Each takes into account the patient’s targets and medication use. (Note: algorithms are for use by health professionals. Patients should discuss treatment plans with their doctors.)
