Inpatient (intensive structured living)

Comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment program provides constant monitoring and observation of patients by nursing staff.

Program

  • Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, usually 14 to 21 days
  • Daily group programming determined by individual needs. May include psychotherapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, education and nutrition
  • Trained staff (registered dietitians and health educators) closely observe patients eat three meals and three snacks each day
  • Individual psychotherapy twice a week, or more as needed
  • Family therapy, if recommended by the team
  • Daily medical visits with a medical doctor
  • Visits with a psychiatrist each week, as needed.
  • One-on-one nutrition counseling and education, as needed
  • Includes family meals
