Males

Reverse body image is common in boys and men with eating disorders. The phenomenon of "reverse body image" is common in boys and men with eating disorders. As opposed to women who often simply want to be “smaller,” boys and men want a thin waist and massive shoulders – and the two are not always mutually compatible. As a result, circumstances surrounding eating disorders in males can take a very different course than with young women.

Our programming is individualized to address the unique issues for these boys and men.
