Program options

Executives and their companies can select from the following Executive Health program options. For more information, call 952-993-0425.

Comprehensive executive examination

The executive receives a complete physical examination and lab tests, which cover family history, risk factors and individual health concerns. See a complete list of tests included in the examination.

In addition, a fitness educator will meet with the executive, then recommend exercises to meet each person’s goals. Consultation with a registered dietitian rounds out this comprehensive exam, which costs $1,600 and takes about four hours. The personal health and fitness consultation and nutrition consultation also are available as separate offerings.

Personal fitness consultation only

The executive receives a fitness assessment, which includes a state-of-the-art fitness test (direct measure VO2 test). This provides inactive people a base-line measure from which to begin a program, and fit people specific heart rate recommendations to enhance their training. The exercise specialist then will guide the executive through a series of core strength and flexibility exercises. The session will conclude by reviewing current exercise habits, discussing VO2 results and providing exercise recommendations based on the findings. A personal fitness consultation costs $250 and takes about one hour.

Nutrition consultation only

The executive discusses his or her diet and develops a personal food plan with a registered dietitian. Before the visit, the executive completes and returns a three-day food journal. The dietitian can offer advice in areas such as frequent business travel and eating out, ideas for healthy meal planning at home or basic information on diet for cholesterol disorders, obesity, hypertension or diabetes. The dietitian also is available for ongoing sessions, if necessary. The cost for a nutrition consultation is $125 and takes about one hour.
