Volunteer job descriptions
Below are the different types of CFL volunteer positions available at the 2008 gala, Adventure into Africa, Saturday, Oct. 11.

All volunteers must attend a one-hour training session the week of the event.

Ten volunteers needed. Decorate ballroom and preconvene area. |

Two volunteers needed. Answer guest questions; distribute will-call tickets. |

8:30 p.m. to midnight |
Two volunteers needed. Answer guest questions. At the end of the evening, bring valuables to volunteer room, clean the information table. |

Greeters |
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. |
Four volunteers needed. Greeters will be at the top of 3rd floor escalator to keep the area clear and moving. |

5:15 to 8:30 p.m. or |
Ten volunteers needed until 8:30 p.m. Four volunteers needed until 12:30 a.m. Previous auction monitor experience requested. Captains oversee monitors and answer questions and supervise bidding. | |

5:15 to 10:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. |
Ten volunteers needed. Ten volunteers needed until 10 p.m. Six volunteers needed until 12:30 a.m. Monitors will answer questions and supervise bidding. | |

Fifteen volunteers needed. Remove tablecloths and centerpieces after band is finished playing. Help clean up the ballroom area. |
