A new presence on Facebook

Park Nicollet’s Facebook page hopes to increase engagement and awareness around health through meaningful information sharing that will include photos and videos. On its ‘wall,’ visitors will find information on a range of topics to include:

• medical treatment options
• new or enhanced health care services
• opportunities to participate in clinical studies
• health education and support group offerings
• upcoming events for patients and other members of the community
• medical journal contributions and research
• health career opportunities
• health resources

Visitors also will have the opportunity to more easily interact and act on information by using Facebook’s commenting and information-sharing features. Visitors who become fans also will have the option to have news and information updates delivered directly to their personal Facebook page. With this door-to-door (or Facebook page-to-Facebook page) approach, health connections are quick and easy.
