FAQ

Who is eligible to use the library?

Patients and the greater community are welcome to use the Health Library.

What hours are you open?

Health Library is open and staffed 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Will there be someone who can help me find what I need?

A trained staff person is always available to help you locate the information you need.

Can I photocopy materials in the library?

Yes. We have a photocopier available for you to copy library materials.

Do you have journals available online?

Yes. We have more than 1,000 clinical journals available online, but you must be in the Health Library to access them.

Do you have novels or common interest magazines?

No. The Health Library’s mission is to empower patients, families, caregivers, and the community to enhance their health and well-being by making informed decisions and becoming active partners in their health care. All the materials we provide are focused on that mission.

Do you have Internet access?

Three computers with Internet access and a network printer are available in the Health Library.
