Fifth Disease

Fifth disease is a viral infection. It starts with a rash on the cheeks and then spreads to the arms and legs. Fifth disease is usually seen in children, from preschool through junior high school age, and it often occurs in the spring.

Fifth Disease

Rash starting on the cheeks and spreading to rest of the body Symptoms can usually be treated at home. If symptoms persist, you should call your doctor for advice.
Extreme itching Symptoms may be treated at home or they may require a visit to your doctor. Usually you and your doctor need to share additional information about your condition to decide what is best for you.
