Have you ever woken up in the morning with your eyes stuck shut? That memorable experience is often caused by conjunctivitis, also known as pinkeye. Pinkeye is an infection of the membrane that lines the inside of the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye.

What to do About Pinkeye
Pink or red eyes with watery discharge for less than 7 days Symptoms can usually be treated at home. If symptoms persist, you should call your doctor for advice.
