Park Nicollet is a nationally recognized leader in heart and vascular care, with a reputation for excellence. This excellence reached new heights with the opening of a remarkable new center on the forefront of the fight against heart and vascular disease.
Designed for patients
Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center in St. Louis Park, Minn., was built with patients in mind. A warm, comfortable environment was created using large fireplaces and cozy seating areas with expansive outdoor views. Healthy living goes hand-in-hand with a healthy environment, so we’ve brought elements of the outdoors, indoors. Natural woods, stones and plants embrace nearby wetlands, while original artwork and scenic views of Minnehaha Creek remind us of the link between our personal well-being and our natural world.
When designing the center, we invited patients to join center staff and architects in sharing ideas about quality. This team ensured patient convenience by minimizing walking distances between services. Waiting times also were reduced by having care providers, material and information available at the right place at the right time.

Comprehensive approach
The new Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center brings our highly skilled specialists together with advanced technology to offer an innovative method for treating and preventing cardiovascular disease.
The center offers an integrated look at the entire cardiovascular system – heart, veins, arteries, brains, lungs and kidneys – not as individual organs, but as one interconnected network. When people have coronary artery or peripheral vascular disease, they also may be at risk for other forms of cardiovascular disease such as stroke, kidney disease or aneurysm.
To best understand the effects of cardiovascular disease, and provide a comprehensive approach to fighting the disease, the center offers a team approach to care. The team is comprised of board-certified cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists who work side by side every day.
