 These days everything is going mobile – and health care is no exception. Park Nicollet is now offering a new, mobile diagnostic service called Zipnosis.
The concept can be likened to a mobile version of a retail-based clinic. The service charges a flat rate of $25, and covers a pre-determined list of conditions, including sinus infection, bladder infection and allergies.
Simply spend a few minutes answering questions about your symptoms, then that information is converted into a fully digital clinical note and sent securely to a Park Nicollet clinician. Within an hour, the clinician will respond with a diagnosis and treatment, including a prescription if appropriate. Zipnosis automatically sends you a text message or e-mail when the diagnosis is ready, and can even use mobile GPS to locate the nearest pharmacy.
