PARK NICOLLET INSTITUTE ENGAGES IN RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND INNOVATION TO IMPROVE QUALITY AND PUBLIC AND PRIVATE DECISION-MAKING IN HEALTH AND HEALTH CARE.

This active and ambitious mission requires that Institute strategies continue to evolve and develop. Our specific goals surrounding customer needs, chronic disease, health disparities and staff excellence are supported by purposeful growth. The highlights on these pages and throughout this report show initiatives to grow programs, market share and revenue — all in the spirit of our mission.

TEACHING MORE PEOPLE
HealthSource added fitness center management contracts with Walser Automotive Group and United Defense, bringing their total to 10 centers at seven different Twin Cities corporations. They also provided substantial new worksite health promotion initiatives at numerous companies. Almost 4,000 people enrolled in 300-plus health education classes, services and forums. More than 8,000 health professionals attended our continuing medical education programs.

REARCHING MORE MARKETS
With worldwide demand for our diabetes books and patient materials high, International Diabetes Center’s publications team surpassed the $1 million mark in gross revenue. HealthSource sold more than 378,000 of its pyramid products. The publishing and product development teams of these two groups have now merged to more effectively bring Park Nicollet expertise to organizations nationwide.
