Rheumatology research center

Established in 1986, Rheumatology Research Center is a collaboration between Park Nicollet Rheumatology and Park Nicollet Institute. Our mission is to enhance lives by reducing the impact of disease through research, education and care.

Rheumatology research focuses on clinical studies evaluating innovative treatments for arthritis and other rheumatological diseases, quality of life and outcomes research.

Our original and collaborative research is conducted by a trained team of board-certified rheumatologists and a dedicated clinical research staff.

Patient education and support services

We foster the education of our patients and the community through a patient resource library, self-management classes, exercise program, lupus support group, worksite health fairs and community education forums.

Professional education and continuing medical education

Physicians and staff sponsor and participate in local, regional and national continuing education seminars for interdisciplinary professional audiences. Park Nicollet Rheumatology regularly trains medical students and primary care residents in outpatient settings.

Physicians have developed musculoskeletal disease and osteoporosis clinical care guidelines for Park Nicollet Health Services providers and medication monitoring guidelines for referring physicians.
