Emergency nurses

Our emergency center nurses have extensive education to care for patients in an emergency or in a critical phase of their illness or injury. This is crucial, because patients coming to the Emergency Center have a variety of diverse health care needs that must be addressed in a timely manner.

Beyond their nursing degrees, emergency nurses at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital also must be certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), trauma nurse core course (TNCC) and emergency nurses pediatric course (ENPC). Several of our nurses have chosen to become certified emergency nurses (CEN) through even more education.
