Staff

A variety of health care providers work together to deliver emergency medical services at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Emergency Center, including the following.

• Board-certified emergency medicine doctors
• Registered nurses (RNs) with additional, critical care training for emergency patients
• Emergency center technicians, with specialized training in orthopedic splinting and other procedures
• Respiratory therapists to assist with airway and breathing problems
• Social workers to help with psychosocial concerns
• Child-life specialists to help create a caring experience for our pediatric patients
• Pharmacists to ensure safe medication management for our patients
• Health unit coordinators to enter doctors orders and provide team support
• Emergency medical services personnel, including paramedics who administer prehospital treatment and advanced cardiac life support before patients arrive at the emergency center.
